Objectives, eligibility and main topics of the program:

These are specialized training opportunities designed to provide dentists with advanced education and practical experience in the field of orthodontics; focusing on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. Both the Orthodontist Observership and Fellowship Programs aim to offer dentists opportunities for professional growth and development in the field of orthodontics. While the observership program focuses on observation and exposure to advanced orthodontic procedures; the fellowship program provides a more comprehensive training experience with active roles in practice, specialized education, and research opportunities, enabling dentists to specialize in orthodontics and provide advanced orthodontic care in their dental practice.

Firstly, the Orthodontist Observership Program allows dentists to observe and shadow experienced orthodontists in a clinical setting. Participants have the opportunity to observe various orthodontic procedures, including orthodontic consultations, treatment planning, and the management of orthodontic cases. The program aims to enhance participants' understanding of orthodontic principles, expose them to different treatment techniques and approaches, and provide insights into the overall patient management process. However, it's important to note that this observership program typically does not involve hands-on clinical practice.

Secondly, Orthodontist Fellowship Program is a comprehensive and structured training opportunity for dentists seeking specialized expertise in orthodontics. Fellows actively engage in patient care under the guidance of experienced orthodontists, gaining proficiency in diagnosing malocclusions, planning orthodontic treatments, and managing complex orthodontic cases.

Discover the world of orthodontics and elevate your dental career through these Orthodontist Observership and Fellowship Programs, where you'll have the unique opportunity to shadow accomplished orthodontists, gain invaluable insights into advanced treatment techniques, and expand your expertise in creating beautiful smiles!
