Objectives, eligibility, and main topics of the program:

These are specialized training opportunities designed to provide medical professionals with advanced education and practical experience in the field of medical pathology by enhancing participants' knowledge and skills in diagnosing and interpreting diseases through the examination of tissues, cells, and body fluids. While the observership program focuses on observation and exposure to advanced procedures in Medical Pathology; the fellowship program provides a more comprehensive training experience with active roles in practice.

Firstly, the Medical Pathology Observership Program allows participants to observe and learn from experienced pathologists in a clinical or laboratory setting. Participants have the opportunity to observe various aspects of medical pathology practice, including gross examination of surgical specimens, microscopic analysis of tissues and cells, cytology and cytopathology, and molecular pathology techniques. The program aims to deepen participants' understanding of disease processes, diagnostic criteria, and the role of pathology in patient care. However, it's important to note that an observership program typically does not involve hands-on diagnostic practice.

Secondly, the Medical Pathology Fellowship Program is a more comprehensive training opportunity for participants seeking specialized expertise in medical pathology. Fellows actively engage in the diagnosis of various diseases, including neoplastic and non-neoplastic conditions, and gain expertise in specific pathology subspecialties, such as surgical pathology, hematopathology, or neuropathology under the supervision of experienced professionals.

Discover the art and science of Medical Pathology with these esteemed Observership and Fellowship Programs. Join a vibrant community of pathologists, unravel the mysteries of disease, and harness the power of precise diagnostics, making an indelible mark on patient care and shaping the landscape of healthcare for generations to come!
